Description
Thierry Ziegler is co‑founder of bYoRNA, a start‑up dedicated to RNA production in yeast.
Thierry has more than 25 years of experience in the field of pharmaceutical biotechnology. He first worked as Process Development Manager at Merck‑Serono at the Vevey (Switzerland) and Martillac (France) sites, then as Head of Biopharmaceutical Development at Sanofi in Vitry‑sur‑Seine, Production Director at Cellectis, where he was responsible for supplying cell therapy products for UCART oncology clinical trials, as well as for establishing GMP facilities for the production of plasmids, mRNA, and viral vectors and COO at Igyxos. His broad professional experience has enabled him to work on various recombinant protein formats, from preclinical development through to commercial production. Thierry is an engineer from UTC and holds a PhD in Bioengineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology (USA).
