Description
Marieme Sy is a biomanufacturing professional with experience across operations and quality in global vaccine manufacturing environments. She began her career at Sanofi Pasteur in North America, and has developed exposure to international biopharmaceutical environments across Europe, North America, and Africa, within industry ecosystems shaped by leading companies such as Pfizer and Roche.
She now leads the Regional Training Hub and the MADIBA Workforce Development Initiative at the Institut Pasteur de Dakar (IPD), where she designs and implements large-scale training programs to develop a skilled workforce for biomanufacturing across Africa.
Her work focuses on bridging industry and training by building programs aligned with real operational needs and international standards. Through the Regional Training Hub, she contributes to positioning Africa as an emerging player in biomanufacturing by developing industry-ready talent at scale.
