Description
Sébastien Iva is an experienced life sciences executive with over 25 years of international experience across the pharmaceutical, medtech, and biotech sectors. Throughout his career, he has specialized in bridging science, strategy, and execution, supporting companies at key stages of their development—from preclinical phases through to market access and industrial scale-up.
Following leadership roles at Sanofi, Stallergenes-Greer, and Thuasne, as well as experience within a Swiss diagnostic start-up, he has developed recognized expertise in industrial scale-up, regulatory strategy, and international partnerships, operating at the intersection of the public and private sectors.
Since 2020, he has served as CEO of Fabentech, where he is leading a new phase of growth driven by the expansion of polyclonal antibody technologies to address unmet medical needs. Under his leadership, the company has established itself as a strategic player in European health sovereignty, contributing to the development of countermeasures against pandemics and biological threats, while strengthening its European collaborations and securing key funding.
A graduate of Burgundy School of Business, HEC Paris, and INSEAD, he is driven by the conviction that innovation, when guided by a clear mission and built on trust, creates lasting value for patients, healthcare systems, and society.
