Description
Patrick Perré graduated from the Ecole Polytechnique, France's leading Grande Ecole, and completed his training at AgroParisTech in life sciences. He holds a PhD in physics and is currently Professor at CentraleSupélec, University Paris-Saclay. During his career, he applied mechanical, chemical and biological engineering, in synergy with computational science, to the transformation of renewable carbon. Since 2015, he leads the Chair of Biotechnology of CentraleSupélec. With an annual budget of 3M€, this 40+ group applies the digital twin concept to the production and bio-production of materials, energy and chemicals.
